Our History

Wings of A Eagle Christian Fellowship Began on the Streets of Hackensack New Jersey in January of 1986 it was laid upon the hearts of Bishop Daryl Townes and Pastor Carol Fernandez to begin to evangelize the street of our hometown Hackensack.

After about of month of Witnessing and preaching the Gospel the Lord spoke to Mother Pearl Everett who place the vision before Pastor Carol and myself to begin a church with such a push we went forward not knowing where we were going to hold our services and we search for a location the Lord led us to the American Legion building in Teaneck New Jersey on Queen Ann Road.

Still not knowing what the name of the ministry would be we began to evangelize Teaneck at that time there was only 4 people committed to this time of birthing as we met together at Mother Pearls home on Railroad Avenue in Hackensack New Jersey for Prayer and to discuss the vision God laid it on Mother Pearls heart and gave us the Name of the Ministry Wings of A Eagle Christian Fellowship which was anamiouly accepted.

On February 2, 1986 we had our first service just expecting the four to be in attendance God sent those that was supposed to be there and what a service where had. As we continue to go forward doing what God as spoken to us to and fulfilling the vision that God had given us there came great opposition, trials, and tribulations, being put out of churches, ostracized and talk about we continue to push and the church grew rapidly to appoximalty 100 in membership in less than a month.

As time went by the church was turned over into the hands of Pastor Carol as God had another plan in mind for me. Many years went by as I traveled contining to evangelize and preach God sent me to the south land.

After 3 years of being in the south land God returned me to my hometown Hackensack at which time he allowed Pastor Carol and I to link up again and this time Mountain Moving Services began at Jackson Temple Church of God In Christ the late Bishop A. Lee Hull was pastor God move Awesomely in these services.

I was so glad to know that Pastor Carol continue going forward with Wings of A Eagle it was at this time I met my wife Evangelist Barbara Townes and during a Mountain Moving Service Prophetess Angelina Miller Prophesied our marriage and in 1993 Pastor Carol united us in Holy Matrimony.

Again God sent me on another journey along with my family and Pastor Carol and I lost touch but God had move us close to her but we did not know it. About two years 2008s We was asked by Pastor Ronald Evans to go to the Pocono mountains where he was scheduled to preach for Pastor Carol and again a divine connection happen.

At this time she had changed the name of the ministry to House of Prayer of the Living God and let Wings of a Eagle lay dormant for many years I continue to fellowship and preach for Pastor Carol again where we teamed up again. Beginning outreach services at the Shoney Hotel on Saturday and did God bless in those services.

After being in the mountain from 2008-2012 God took us again in another direction where he finally caused us to walk in our true calling I started a ministry in my little apartment and God Gave me the Name of Worship Word And Praise Tabernacle Church Ministries which was incorporated 2015 in the state of New Jersey. Seeing that the few member that we did have move to different locations God put on our heart to continue as a Ministry and not a local Church Organization as we went forward the wife and I God began to deal with me about our original name that God had given Mother Everett after discussing it with Pastor Carol I began to look into it and it was available for incorporation.

So in 2018 the Name was changed from Worship Word and Praise Evangelistic Tabernacle Church Ministries to Wings of A Eagle Christian Fellowship Ministries God had allowed to reclaim the founding Name that was given to our beloved Late Mother Pearl Everett.
